About Me

My name is Jon Scherdin and this is my blog. My posts tend to focus on two subjects: Aid & Development and the Body of Christ expressed in organic church life. However, you never know what will appear.

I have a couple of master’s degrees (one of which is in Intercultural Studies). I have worked in and traveled to 20+ countries around the world.

My 9-5 is writing software for a hospital.

I’m married to Shanda Scherdin who writes a blog here.

And yes, the rumors are true, I do not like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Organic church! Community, love, compassion and time for one another …do we have time for this? (smile). How i yearn for that book of Acts church. You know of folk like this who are quietly getting on with it?

Spencer, yes I do. In fact, I am part of a group doing exactly that. It is both stunning and amazing. There are other groups doing this that we know of as well. I will email you with more information.
